Slightly different story here: I got RFE for my 485 in April, 09 asking for a J1 waiver. Since I did not apply for the waiver and I didn't have time to do so, I replied their RFE without a waiver in May. In June, the online status showed my 485 was denied. But I never got the denial letter even I called many times. I know the reason for denial was because of the J1 waiver. After I got the waiver in June, I sent a express letter to TSC asking them to re-send the denial letter to me, at the same time I enclosed the my J1 waiver approval, and stated the reason why I did not get the denial letter (they might send it to my old address) in July. A few days later, they change the online status to "reply to RFE received", and I did not send the denial letter.
