Sure, you should do it. It will be easier for you because you already have the NIW experience and have a lot of materials.

It may just approve your green cards within a very short of time. The EB2 may take an unexpected long time.

I was in the same situation and same time as you applied NIW. Then I appllied EB1 and got green cards in January of 2008.
