急! I20 轉過學 回國返美有問題嗎

我一個朋友去年I20來美讀書。今年初轉到另一所學校讀書。現放假回國了。將於7-12返美。去年的VISA今年8-24到期。有人說她必須重新簽證否者會被拒絕入關。請問是真的嗎？
