本人現在是OPT，8月中到期。現公司已成功申請到H1B名額。如果現在的工作繼續到十月，那就沒什麽問題。
但近來公司有消息要裁人，我覺得如果真裁的話，我的危險很大。如果不幸被裁，

新工作是不是必須在OPT到期前找到並transfer H1B名額？

如果在OPT到期前沒有找到新工作，那我的H1B名額還有效嗎？
-Yes, as long as your employer who sponsored your H1 does not withdraw the H1 before it is efffective.
我這種情況有什麽對策？
-Talk to your employer not to cancel the h1 until you find a new job.
