actually, the company only want the effective date of H1b in Middl of july e.g July 15, not July 1. Will that still be no gap? please help clarify, thanks a million!
-You may discuss with your employer to set the start date on July 1 in the Form I-129, but you will start to work on July 15 if you feel uncomfortable.

Actually, after you file the tranfer, you can legally stay until July 15. The small gap will not affect you anything in the future.
