is it necesssary to apply EAD now or just apply TN if I find a new job,

so what is the diffrence between my EAD and I-485 based EAD?
-If you use L2 based EAD to work, your status will not change (still be L2), but if you use I-485 based EAD to work, your statu will be AO, no more L2.
