My old EAD already expired in March 2009, although it was not used. You mean I just need to renew the old EAD and work for the new employer when the renewed card is ready?
-Sorry, I did not read it carefully. You can renew the EAD and work for the new employer after you get the approved EAD. But the problem is it takes some time (2 to 3 months) to get the EAD application approved, is that OK to you and your employer? If you need to work urgently for your new employer, you may just do h1 transfer so that you can work for your new employer immediately after the H1 transfer petition filing.
