PJiang等高手urgent help!! 485 get REF but no job now

Hi all,

I have I-140 approved, 485 pending 2 years. Priority date not currrent yet. Got laid off for 6 months. Get REF for EVL from USCIS last week. I have only 20 days left to reply. I try my best to find a new job. Here I have questions:

1. Is it USCIS pre-adjudicate my case now?
2. If I have not job until expired date, how do I handle? may I still use AC21 Portability? I mean, my priority date is not current, I do not need to have job until I-485 approved. My lawyer told me there is a memorandum from USCIS telling about this. He will provide this memorandum and reply back, just let my case keep active and not get deny at this time. Of course, in the meantime, I keep to find a job as soon as possible.

律師的處理可行嗎? 我真的懷疑這時候這樣做會被CIS拒掉.
