（1）如果我在9/25/2009之前（也就是我的B2失效日期之前）找到新的工作辦H1B transfer的話，需要不需要離境簽證？
-Usually, No. Not called H1 transfer, but application for a new H1 because your current status is not H1, but B2. But you can not work until your new h1 application is approved (Status change from B2 to H1).
So, you may use Premium Processing to get it approved within 15 days.

如果需要的話，我這種情況去第3國比如加拿大簽H1B應該是可以的吧？
-Yes.

（2）我的H1B是2006年10月開始的，在我被lay-off的時候，正好用了2年半，就是說還剩3年半。如果我倆年之內一直沒找到工作，但是2年後找到了工作，那麽我的新公司還可以為我辦H1B transfer對嗎？到那時候我的H1B還剩下3年半還是隻剩下1年半了？
-it is not called H1 transfer, but a new h1 application. You still can use the left time of your orginal H1 duration (3年半).
我沒工作的這倆年占用不占用我的H1B的6年有效時間啊？
