PJIANG等老師,
I filed I-140 and I-485 on 7/2/2007. Both I-140 and I-485 are pending. Now I got laid off. The HR told me they will inform USCIS that I am laid off. My attorney told me that there are chances that my I-140 get approved since the company promised that it will put me back on payroll if the economy turns back. I do not know if it is true. Will my I-140 be rejected?
The second question:
If my I-140 get rejected, will my I-485 get rejected right away?
Do I have any other ways to stay in US?
Thanks.
