Each time when you contact USCIS, they add some paperwork (your concerns, their reply......) to your file. If too much paperwork are complied in your file, any immigration officials do not want to touch it because they believe there is too much touble in your case and it needs more time to deal with your case. If your case is assigned to an immigration official already, the requests make him angry because he has to do something for your case each time when you contact USCIS. Probably he leaves the case alone and never wants to touch it later. Some cases are completed within a few months, but some cases may last several years. This is the reason.
