When did you submit I-485, during 2007 July when all EB was current? Otherwise, I am afraid your I-485 will be denied since EB2 is not current. If relink works, everyone can submit EB1/2/3 and I-485 and link EB1 based 485 to non-current EB2 even EB3. I hope USCIS is that stupid.
