you may still have broken the continuous residency rule by only visiting the US every 5 months. It's at the immigration officer's discretion. I heard some people in similar situation had no issue at all, and some others' n-400s were rejected. You have a better chance if you paid tax, owned a house, kept a phone line, used US bank/credit card, and etc, to prove your strong connection to the US.
