Denial of I-485 DOES NOT necessarily result in revocation of I-140 unless it is revoked by sponsor.

Not untill the PD becomes current again (not like 2007 July). The best is to file AC21 with a new employer before I-140 is withdrawn by current employer.

Yes. I think old PD can be carried over.
