Did you submit 485?

If you had already submitted 485, you don't need change any visa & you cannot change any visa. If you didn't submit 485 yet, it should be fine for you to change F1. Since your hu*****and had already submitted I140, it is a little trick for him to apply F2 (maybe Ok). But don't go outside of USA, your hu*****and cannot get F2 visa outside of USA. Try to find another job ASAP.
