老公被laid off，last paycheck 到六月十二號。我是h4,趕快申請了學校，拿了I20，準備自己申請F1.

老公要不要立刻和我一起申請F2?

我們擔心的是老公申請綠卡批了140，如果F2不批，會是什麽後果？如果F1F2S申請還在批，找到了工作，怎麽再申請H1B?
- If he has filed I-485 which I guess not, he has no status issue. Otherwise he needs to get a new employer ASAP to have H-1b transfered so as to be in status.
