I don't know your mom's age. And I assuming you meant systolic pressure.
Generally, it is very normal for elders that their systolic pressure (high pressure) is slightly higher than youngers. 160 is not a big problem for systolic pressur if the diastolic pressure (low pressure) is normal. I don't think it is a medical problem to her and even matter to the application at all.
Tell your mom, it is OK if her pressur is high, this may make her calm down.
