I-693 requested ?

I am requested for I-693 (medical exam) now. MY CASE: I submitted I-485 (without I-693) in July, 2007, and then conducted the exam in the Aug. 2007(two weeks later). So my attorney now is ready to submit that I-693 sealed in 2007. However someone told me that I have to redo the exam because I did not submit the I-693 within one year after examination. Could anyone please tell me more on this tissue? Thanks a lot for help!!!
