H1B will be expired on May, 2009. The lawyer asked for extending, and then found the problem from I-94: 2007, 10, 27.

Just take your original H1b and error I-94 and all other relative docs, you will be corrected with a new I-94.

It is not that complicated thing that you have to do with a "lawyer".

You can do it yourself.
