我的淺見：如果硬要咬文嚼字，可以這樣理解。I-131（申請AP的表）上是這樣寫的：

Advanced parole is an extraordinary measure used sparingly to bring an otherwise inadmissable alien to the United States for a temporary period of time due to a compelling emergency.

第三頁B1還寫道：

You may apply if you have an adjustment-of-status application pending and you seek to travel abroad for emergent personal or bona fide business reasons.

所以這並不意外，雖然事實上許多的旅行並不是出於緊急情況，進關時也不是人人都碰上這樣的情況。

不必太生氣，生活中很多事情都是個概率，隻要你還是平安進來，就盡快忘記這件小事。以後再遇到同樣情況，知道怎樣應付即可。Get on with life.
