You hu*****and submitted 140/485, that doesn't mean you have. Have you submitted your own 485? If you did, leaving without a AP will abandon your 485. If not, go back to China, better try get H1 visa. Your current status, F1, doesn't allow intention of applying for green card, you will be denied F1 visa if they know your family is applying for green card. Depends on when you want to leave for China. See if you can get an AP before you go. Usually takes 3 months to get it.
