I140

It's been 16 months since I submitted I140 (NIW) to Vermont Center. I have not heard anything yet. But a friend of mine applied at least two months later than I did, and he was asked to submitted supporting materials by Feb., he did, and got approved in March. What happend to my case?

Can anybody explain?
