這是指若H1B延期在我的H1B結束前FILE,那麽我就不需要離境,但H1B延期在我的H1B結束後FILE,那我就需要離開US,到MEXICO或CANADA去重新申請簽證入境,是這樣理解嗎?
-Yes. But if the gap is short, USCIS may approve your H1 with the I-94 and thus, you can continue to work and do not need to go out of US to get an H1 visa to activate it. Otherwise, if you get your H1 approved without I-94 due to the gap, you need to go out of US to get an H1 visa.
