PJiang, Xiaobaitu HELP! - Use EAD or NOT while my hubby has not

我需要專家意見－關於是否用EAD或用了EAD後最壞是什麽情況。
這是我情況：
我已有EAD，２００７年夏天時FILED ４８５。當時我先生因多種原因沒與我同時 filed，所以我們一直在等my PD to be current。現在COMPANY B 想要我轉成他們的雇員，這是一家工作很穩定的銀行，我很想轉。但因他們拿了政府的 funding，他們不能 transfer H１B。我隻能用EAD,如果我想為他們工作。我明百如果我用EAD， 我先生就失去了他的H４status. But the H4 is very useful to him. In case of my PD is current, he can enter US as H4 visa, and he can files his AOS the 2nd day after entering, and then he can back to Toronto for his work afte filing AOS。Currently 他是加拿大公民，他每周都回美國。他沒有用H４visa 出入，他隻是在海關出示 passport。In other words, he enter US as a vistor. My questions:
1. My understanding is that visitor or TN visa holder can file AOS only after 90 days of entering, is this true?
2. Worse case scenario, say my PD turns to current, my application is approved. Can he still file AOS at same time to apply for EAD?
3. How about consular processing? When to file CP request? How long it takes to get green card?
