Strange, you didn't know the expiration date of your I-20?

You better talk to a lawyer. Maybe the best way is go back to China and try to get H1-b visa. But since you have been out of status for 3 month, it will be tough to get a new visa.

Another way is to get a B2 visa here if its possible to keep you legal status.

Remember, don't stay here illegally more than 6 month, that will cause you facing 3 years unadmitable penalty.
