One week ago, I received a letter from NSC that requested for additional
evidence for I485. NSC asked the current dated permanent employment letter
and the proof of my continusous employment authorization /maintaining status
in the US.
I'm working in a university with H1B and never change my job since I came to
USA. My background: EB2-NIW filed in 5/2007 and Approved in 8/2008; filed
I-485 in 07/2007. All with NSC.
I have not replied yet. Then today, I received two emails said my wife and
child 's I-485 were transderred to another USCIS service center: "The I485
APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was
transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You
will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs
something from you. ...
If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status
results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS
within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer
Service at (800) 375-5283. "
I don't know why NSC does such strange sthings? Any idea? Is it possible the NSC mistook my case to be EB-1B? (By the way, my postion is a permerant one in the system, and when I filed the 484 in 7/2007 my exployment letter claimed that permenant property). Thanks a million.
Any idea to strange actions from NSC?
