這一兩天就打算把材料寄出去。請問我還有必要再去補一個有效的I-20嗎？還有地址是不是要打電話給移民局改到我現在的住址，讓那封關於F1的信寄過來呢？
-Yes, you had better get that letter and send the required materials (補材料)folloing the instruction, and also provide a new (valid) I-20 if you want to reinstate your F1 status.

But if you do not want to do anything, it is still OK for you to get GC using family base in your case.

You also need to file Form AR-11 to report your address change if you have not done that yet.
