I travel outside of u.s everyd

I've read a article, it suggests: "it is advisable not to travel outside of the USA." when I am under TN1. The qustion is I am woking in a u.s.company at the u.s. side of border and I am living canada side of border, I travel back and forth everyday across border, is that against law?
