1 yr after stamp,still no card

Hi. My I-485 case was approved in Aug 2003 at NYC. Passport was stamped the same day. I was told the actual card will come in 6-9 mos. Now 1 yr has passed, still have not received the card. NYC said they have transferred the file to Vermont. Filed G731V with Vermont numerous times and got no response so far. Want to know anybody on the same boat as me? What other options do I have besides waiting?
