As far as I know,
1) Can H4 work as volunteer in current company?
Yes,if the company is non profit company
2) Once H4 used EAD, can change back to H4 later?
Yes,you can change from AOS to H4.But you you are Chinese pasport holder,you may go outside of USA to activate you H4 Visa.
