有沒有人給父母辦過綠卡? 父母這邊需要準備什麽材料?

我從網上查到其中有一項是父母的birth certificate， 請問這一項是不是必須的?
因為我的父母在國內的時候沒辦這個，而且我辦綠卡的時候也沒有提供過birth certificate，
不過我辦的是employment-based。還有一項是父母合法入境的證明，請問簽證可不
可以算? 因為他們的I-94表不慎丟失了。肯請大俠指教!
