If you are Chinese, because the visa bulletin is not current yet for EB2, you can submit 140, but you can't file 485 concurrently with your 140. 140 alone will not help with your current status. Without a job, it is hard to submit 485, for you will have no employment letter to fulfill the requirement for financial support.

The possible option is to find a job or change to other status, like F-1, B-2 etc. Also once you submit 140, you will not be eligible for those non-immigrant visas.
