no need. just came back from a cruise trip with a port of call in Cozumel in Mexico. The only concern will be if you have a multi entry visa to USA. Once the ship is docked, all you will need is just the SeaPass card from the ship. Mexican consulate clearly states that there is no need for visa if you enter the country through one of the cruise port.
