-Yes, of course. As long as your mon files I-485 before her I-94 expires (5/09), she is legally present in US and she can go out of US anytime with AP.

It seems you mean she can not use AP if she leaves after I-94 expires.
-No, I did not means that. The above post is different from your mon's situation. The person's parents in above post had been out of status (unlawful presence) for more than one year before they filed I-485, so they can not go out of US even if they have AP.
