What we can do is to try our best and to have a good plan.

If EB2 is slow, then try EB1. You can try EB1a and Eb1b at the same time. I had similar situation to yours. I filed my NIW in 2005, then got the PD problem.
Then I tried both EB1's and both of them were approved in one month. But, I got the infamous name check delay for 2 years. Then I filed WOM and within one month they cleared my name check and sent the cards.


Do not compare your achievements to others'. It is nonsense sometimes.
