hi, friends, I got my 485 approved on 10-8-08 locally but still waiting for the card to arrive. My H1b1 is gonna be expired in May 2009 and if i cannot get the card before 1-1-09 then I have to apply for an EAD,
- You don't and it will be denied if you do

I have a 12-yo son on H4 right now, so my question is: what should my son get if I apply for EAD? Thanks a lot.
- He does not with assumption of his having filed I-485
