Does USCIS require the biometrics for AP application?

could please someone tell me that, Does USCIS require the biometrics for AP application? If yes, How long will they inform me to do biometrics after I submit AP? How will they inform me? If I have done biometrics for 485, Do I need to do biometrics for AP again?
