Lost job. I485 pending. Need your kind advice!

Our company had a lay off today and I was one of the people let go. My I485 was filed July 2007. My I140 was approved long before that. My priority date is November 2005. I am deeply worried as the job market doesn't look good now. What would happen to me if I couldn't land a new job soon? What should I do at this point? Your kind advice is highly appreciated! Thank you!
