急問Pjiang teacher：關於綠卡麵試Certified Police Clearance

Today my wife received the notice of interview for I-485 in Nov.

We filed together in 2005 with EB2 under my university's sponsorship, she is the dependent. My GC was approved this August. My wife's fingerprint failed three times and that's why she needs the interview.

In the letter, one of the required document is "Certified Police Clearance, if required by classification."

1. does she need the Police Clearance in this case (does she belong to the "classification")?
2. for which period do we need the Police Clearance? We have the notarized clearance from China, however we've been in US for 12 years, do we need to get local police document?
3. if so, for how many years (5 years or 10 years)?
