Suppose I get a new work before my H4 approved,what should I do then?
-You can withdraw your H-4 application and then ask your new employer to file a new H-1 petition for you.

My above answer is not completely correct because you will be out of status if you withdraw your H-4 application. You need to wait for the H4 aplication get approved and then change it to H1 again if you find a new job after you are laid off for a longer period.
