Pjiang: 1-month gap between F-2 and F-1 out of status

Hi, My f-2 expired 12/99 because my hu*****and's school made a mistake delayed my hu*****and's I-20 extension. I started my MBA on 1/11/2000 and got an I-20 (starting date is 1/11/2000) from the school. My f-2 to f-1 was approved later. My question is that was I out of status from 12/99 to 1/11/00?
