She doesn't need to wait for approval after filing 485

There is a memo regarding on this published in Oct. 2008. H holder doesn't need to wait for receipt of 485 or AP. If your PR is approved before she files her AOS. You can file her PR after you get your PR. In this case, she can stay in US, but she can not work during the time she waits for her PR. This process may take 5 years.
