What I meant is, when your parents come, they might get an I94 valid for 6 months. But if you want them to have a good credit, arrange their returning trip within 3 months. It is good for next time visit.
You are unlucky.
This is a trick some Visa officers love to play. They put an annotation on the visa restricting the length of stay already before the parents get here. Next time when the parents go to apply for visas, they will take a note how long they stayed in the States last time. If longer than 3 month,very likely they will get rejected.
