got a response call from senator

Just got a call from a senator I reached 3 days ago. Said the officer is reading my files now, my NC is clear, my fingerprint is okay and there's visa availble for my case, and if I didn't recieve any information from uscis within 120 days, then reach the senator again.
---Is it a routine reply?
---visa is available for us, means we already have been assigned a visa?
