please help with AP renew

Sorry that I can not input Chinese in the office

I applied for AP last July. Before It was approved, I left U.S and then came back with my H1B visa. Before I came back to U.S, my AP got approved. I know my approved AP is invalid since I left U.S. before it was approved. now I am renewing my AP. Can I use the renewed AP to come back to U.S if I go back to china after I get my renewed AP this year? Or the renewed AP is valid?
