If your 140/485 was submitted 6 month ago or earlier.
no problem at all.
I have yet to hear any case in which the 485 is approved within 6 months. In case that does happen to you, I do not think it is a big problem either, as long as your previous employer did not inform them to cancel your case. Just do not bring it up yourself.
