Can I appy a multi-entry Canada visa to came back USA from China

Thanks for help first. I am currently H-1b in USA and plan to tavel back to China several times recenlty. I have a chance to take a meeting in Canada. Because H-1b visa will automatically revalidation when I come back to US. Can I apply a muti-entry Canada visa for my future travel to China. for example, Can I fly to Canada first with muti-entry Canada visa then entry US with H-1b visa will automatically revalidation. Then I can avoid the several times application for American visa in China. Is this possible? Who did that before? Thanks a lot.
