Do you have any formal info to back your claim?
My 1st EAD got approved in one month, since I renewed my 2nd one at 1.5 month before the expired date(8-9-08). I assumed 2nd one would be faster as I also mailed the stub from the 1st EAD. But I didn't get the approvement yet. Then I contact my 2 employers(one the college, the other one is VA hospital as a no pay employee). VA said it's OK as long as I have the evidence of the renew application submitted. But the college said they won't let me work after the expired date without the approvement.
If you can provide sort of formal info on this issue, it would help me to argue with HR in my college. Thanks!
