I am green too. Congressman helps! call tips

I-140&485 RD 4/30/2007, 11/23/2007 140 approved, NC not clear. I called INS and require a service request and then the representative transfer me to customer service. At the same time, I called congressman in my area and they contacted with the INS and then my case was assigned to an officer. I am not sure which one works or both of them but I think comgressman is very helpful because at least they can talk to USCIS and get more information for you. Approved after 2 weeks. NC memo still working. if you want to talk to customer service, you can ask the representative to transfet your call, then the people in customer service will be very nice.
