I think when you fill your I-129 form to extend your H1-B,you have to fill the A#.The A# is in I-485 receite,Finger pront form and EAD form.You can tell you school you can provide your A#.

BTW,I believe your I-485 receite was sent to your Attorney if you are dependent applicant.You can ask your attorney to give you a copy.
